Free Webinar Replay: Beyond Genes: How Sleep, Diet & Exercise Impact a Child’s ADHD

In this hour-long webinar-on-demand, learn the impact of sleep, diet, and exercise on ADHD with Joel Nigg, Ph.D.

Each year, new evidence shows the role that lifestyle factors play in the expression of ADHD symptoms — not to mention the development of brain circuits that support attention, executive functioning, learning, and self-regulation. Among the most powerful data is evidence changing the way we think about the role of sleep, exercise, and diet on a child’s development. In this webinar, we will briefly review the scientific studies demonstrating how sleep, exercise, and diet improve brain growth and help balance out the ADHD symptoms associated difficulties like emotional reactivity. We will focus on the best ideas emerging from this research, including ones you can implement in your life.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  1. The latest findings on exercise and the development of executive functioning

  3. The latest findings and new conclusions on diet and supplementation
  4. The most important dietary considerations for ADHD and when to make sure you have a professional consult with you on diet
  5. Guidelines and ideas for exercise and ADHD
  6. Resources if your child has sleep-related behavior problems and when to seek evaluation for a possible sleep disorder
